This is from the move Uthama Puthiran. I’ve mentioned this a couple of times because of the many great dance scenes starring Padmini and Ragini (for which I’ve watched the whole movie twice, first without subtitles, then with), and also for the fine performance by Sivaji Ganesan. But this particular number is most notable, first, for the appearance of Helen in the middle (in another one of her earliest movie scenes), and then for the wild rockabilly number at the end. (Music by G. Ramanathan.)

I love the way she can lift both eyebrows, she does that a lot.
As Carla said once on my blog: Helen is sui generis.
So true!
Eyebrows – good point – the eyebrows are a significant part of the dance here! :)
