Over in the “Now You See It, Now You Don’t” Department…

Some people have been trying to visit a post that I deleted, and I hope they aren’t too perplexed.  I set up the post to carry on a conversation that had nothing to do with the post from which it had originally sprung.  Specifically, I thought that maybe the comments section for this separate post would be a good place to store these conversations that go too far afield.  But it was a peculiar idea to begin with.  And then the conversation itself got weighed down in misunderstanding.  And I started to post a whole bunch of stuff about myself and my political ideas and my difficulties in life that I thought really didn’t belong here.  I’ve had other blogs where I went far afield in this way, but I don’t really want to do that so much here.  Additionally, the person with whom I was conversing kind of gave me permission to delete this conversation, so I did.  That’s why some of you saw it…and then you didn’t.

It’s been a frantic week for me, and I might be getting a little frantic on this site.   I hope that my present fickleness is not too offputting at any rate…
