I’ve posted this song/dance in the past, but this is a much better, more complete version (thanks to Ajit), so it’s a good reason to post it again (especially since I’m posting things from Kalpana right now.) The bharatanatyam is incredible (with some other kinds of classical dance mixed in as well), but so is the singing from Mohammed Rafi and Manna Dey – with, of course, much credit O.P. Nayyar, too. Plus, I just love the visual backgrounds for these dances. I have to get this movie sometime soon – though I have a feeling the plot and actual story will not seem nearly as significant to me as the dance sequences.
