Today, September 21, is the 89th birth anniversary of Madam Noor Jehan. I am not sure if I will have a chance to write something new for the occasion before the day is over, but for now, I will do what I did in my last few Noor Jehan birthday posts, and (at least) supply links to my previous Noor Jehan birthday posts :) (with some added description, too).
83rd Birthday (2009) – This was the first Noor Jehan birthday post on this blog, although I had already been posting about her for a little while. Here, I included several clips of some wonderful songs.
84th Birthday (2010) – This post contains a bunch of links to other articles and blog posts about Noor Jehan as well as YouTube video channels. Surprisingly, the YouTube channels still exist, but most of the article links don’t take you to those articles anymore. Well, that is what happens on the old Web… But the stuff that you can find through this post is well worth finding.

September 2012 was a tumultuous month for me, so I missed my chance to do a big Noor Jehan birthday post that year. But I did do a nice short belated birthday post for both Noor Jehan and Lata, with a clip of one fine song from each.
87th Birthday (2013) – This is actually another post consisting of links to older Noor Jehan birthday posts. But they are well worth repeating (if I may say so, myself).
88th Birthday (2014) – Here I linked to old posts again, but I also reposted all the parts of a great video interview that I had posted more than five years earlier. The interview, itself, is well worth re-watching every year!
