I mentioned Eastern Eye below… And then I discovered a similar blog that’s more comprehensive, has whole albums (and very good ones at that – like Amrapali and Umrao Jaan, both of which are now on my computer), and contains links to YouTube movie clips for most of the songs on those albums. For old Bollywood music (and links to some amazing clips), this is a good one: Parties, Sarees and Meolodies.
Thanks for writting about parties, sarees and melodies. I like your blog. I’m guessing that you are a music freak, like me.
Have a look here, 1000’s of bollywood lp’s new and used!
Raja, if I’m referred to a Web site trying to sell things, I usually consider that a spam. But this could be useful, so I’ll keep it up there, wth.
Looking at this old post, I forgot to say you’re welcome to Stella_1. Well, Stella_1, I am always glad to mention Parties, Sarees and Melodies, and still check it out regularly (as you may notice).
I guess I am a music freak. But where Bollywood is concerned, the music freakdom is starting to lead to film freakdom. And I never was a film freak before!
